Oceania Cruises Sweepstakes
Oceania Cruises was looking to increase engagement, drive bookings during the summer months, and foster stronger brand relationships. As a partner of the Charles Schwab Challenge, a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour, Oceania Cruises saw an opportunity to create a promotion that would attract both cruise lovers and golf fanatics. Brandmovers created the Oceania Cruises Sweepstakes, a sweepstakes where consumers could enter to win either the grand prize 10-day luxury cruise or the first prize of a $2500 Golfbreaks by PGA TOUR gift certificate towards a Golfbreaks golf trip.
How It Works
Brandmovers built a dedicated sweepstakes microsite to promote the sweepstakes and collect entries. In addition to a registration form, participants also were required to answer a short two-question survey about their cruise interests to enter. The sweepstakes was promoted on print materials and in event displays at the 2024 Charles Schwab Challenge tournament. To enter, participants could either scan the sweepstakes QR code or visit the promotion website directly. After completing and submitting both the registration form and survey, they received one entry into the Sweepstakes.
Results
The sweepstakes garnered thousands of entries through the microsite, with additional entries captured in person via the QR code at the event. The survey responses collected during the entrant registration process enable Oceania Cruises to more effectively segment consumers and develop targeted content and offers in the future.
