Looking to drive more ad engagement among consumers, Progressive partnered with Brandmovers to launch a Banner Hunt advergame that surprised and rewarded users who interacted with their digital advertisements with a monetary prize.
How It Works
Progressive ads containing a unique link were implemented across advertising channels, and any users who clicked through these ads could be randomly selected as an instant winner.
The lucky instant winners who "found the ad that pays" were then directed to a Brandmovers-built microsite where they entered their contact details for winner verification and prize fulfillment. To ensure only ad-click traffic was eligible for the instant win, Brandmovers implemented passthrough verification steps provided by the advertising sources.
