
Back-To-School Giveaway Promotion Drives Brand Engagement For Babybel
Babybel skyrocketed their back-to-school engagement by giving away 10,000 personalized lunchboxes in a creative fire drill promotion.

Babybel wanted to connect and engage with moms and kids during the back-to-school period to make Mini Babybels a part of their daily lunch. To build lasting brand engagement, Brandmovers created a summertime fire drill promotion that allowed customers to design their own custom lunchboxes to use again and again.

How It Works
Brandmovers created a custom giveaway promotion site that would go live at a specific time each day. Each day during the open giveaway window, the first 162 visitors to the promotion microsite could register their information and claim their free Babybel lunchbox.
The giveaway winners would then follow the steps to create their custom lunchbox by picking their favorite design and color patterns. After submitting their design, their personalized lunchbox would be sent to their home address via mail, along with some complimentary Mini Babybel coupons.
RESULTS
From July through August, Mini Babybel gave away 10,000 personalized lunch boxes. The fire drill microsite received over 1.2 million pageviews and had 170k users in total. The promotion gained momentum quickly until all lunch boxes were being claimed within minutes each day.
